Golden Sidecar Cocktail

The Golden Sidecar, sounds like something out of a  film… This one is especially golden due to the honey, caramel and orange involved! Quite  a sophisticated drink, this will look the part on any table when served. The flavours in this drink are so well complimented by the THREE BEES Salted Caramel & Honey Vodka. What an exceptional taste. 

To be served in: Coupe Glass

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 100ml THREE BEES Salted Caramel & Honey Vodka

  • 50ml Cointreau

  • 25ml Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed)

  • 75ml Orange Juice (freshly squeezed)

  • 1 Lemon for sugar rim

  • 1x Slice of orange

  • Ice

Method

  • Optional Initial Step
    If you would like a sugared edge to your cocktail glass like the photo. Using the juice of a lemon or the fleshly part, rub it round the rim of the glass to wet it. Make sure its wet enough. Alternatively dunk the glass rim in some water. Simply take the upside down glass, dip it in a bowl of sugar.

  • Step 1
    Pour the THREE BEES Salted Caramel & Honey Vodka along with the Cointreau and juices or both the lemon and orange into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice. Shake very well until the outside has gone nice and cold.

  • Step 2
    Strain the contents of the shaker into the glasses. To garnish, put a curl of orange peel on the edge of the glass or a wedge or orange.
